Charred Broccolini with Tonnato Sauce

Ingredients

CHARRED BROCCOLINI:
4 bunches (340 g) Broccolini
1 tbsp Canola oil
¼ tsp Salt, to taste
TONNATO SAUCE:
2 cans (85 g each) Clover Leaf® Solid Light Tuna - Olive Oil Tuna
¼ cup Red onion
¼ cup Capers
½ cup Olive oil
1 ea Lemon, juiced and zested
1/8 tsp Salt, to taste
½ tsp Pepper, to taste
GARNISH:
Lemon, wedges
¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

PREP INSTRUCTIONS

For the Charred Broccolini:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425F degrees.
  2. Line a tray with parchment paper and lay broccolini down.
  3. Season with oil and salt.
  4. Roast until the stems are tender and there is a slight char on the broccolini.

For the Tonnato Sauce:

  1. Blend everything in a blender until smooth and thick.

For Serving:

  1. Plate and drizzle with some tonnato sauce.
  2. Garnish with grated parmesan cheese and lemon wedges.
